What is the return process?

You can return your Thing before closing time at the location you reserved from on the day your borrow ends.
(We don't use a 24-hour system!) 

What do I need to do?

Someone else will probably be borrowing the Thing straight after you. People often borrow Things for all sorts of special occasions, even weddings! So it's important to make sure your Thing is nice and clean and to double check that you've packed all of the parts. You can find a list of parts on the Thing page on our website.

If you can recharge your Thing before returning it too, we're sure you'll make your neighbour's day!

Things that aren't brought back properly may incur a cleaning fee or be charged for a missing part.

What do I need to do when I return the Thing?

Simply take your Thing back to the same location that you collected it from and speak to a member of our friendly team to help log your return!

Don't forget that we also offer delivery, so if you've chosen that option then you just need to make sure the Thing is clean and has all its parts together, ready for our delivery team to pick it up.

 

Checking the date your borrow ends

Tip: Check your reservation confirmation email from us to find the dates of your borrow quickly!

Just sign in on our website, click on the icon of the person and choose "Your borrowing".

On your borrowing page, you can see current loans as well as past and upcoming borrows. 
It'll tell you the dates you're borrowing from and until, as well as the individual name of the Thing you're borrowing!

Tip: Check your reservation confirmation email from us to find the opening hours quickly!

Simply go to our website, hover over the Locations button and click on the name of your local Benthyg Cymru location to find information about the location.

Just be sure to factor in plenty of time to get there before closing time!
